Nearly 90 Joyful Things To Inspire You There's Beauty In The World | Happy List
There is a lot of magic in the world.
You will not have to look too far to find a bit of it. Some has been collected right here, today. As mentioned in the “Book of Light” How-To guide, one major component of this three-step practice is the gratitude journaling step. This method was originally created to counteract thoughts one’s mind might send telling them that no more good things are coming, all is gloom, or the future holds only despair. By taking notice of things that “go right” or make you happy each day, there is a written long as proof good things happen all the time and will continue to happen when your mind feels blue. You can do this by looking out for what is happening in your day that you appreciate - like a nice comment you received, a good cup of coffee, or a car that ran all the way to get you to work.
Or you can use your imagination to picture things “out there” in the world that make you happy. Take a moment to bring it to life in your mind, savoring or celebrating whatever sparks a moment of happiness or intrigue. What does that look like to you? Can't think of anything? Keep reading for some ideas.
Below, I’ve listed 88 things that
you may or may not relate to. However, I hope you see how your list can be
personal, random, big, small, realistic, or not – as long as it brings you
happiness. If you want to learn more about the basics of the practice, you can also
check out the “Book of Light – Frequently Asked Questions” previously published
here. For now, check out a list of things below that I, creator Zarriah,
enjoy. I hope it will provide a bit of inspiration. Even if you don’t relate
